St Michael & All Angels is busy throughout the year, as a community centre as well as a place of worship. Every month, there are concerts and events in the Church and Parish Hall, such as the Chiswick Book Festival in September (right), as well as regular classes and courses on everything from Scottish Country Dancing and Opera to Pilates and Yoga.

Prokofiev: Peter and the Wolf (narrator Fr Kevin Morris), Peterson: The Twelve Days of Christmas. Come bring your family for an afternoon of fun and to get into that Christmas mood. Always entertaining, Peter and the Wolf is a much loved classic and a great way to introduce children to classical music. The concert lasts approximately an hour, and includes demonstrations from the solo instruments and a chance to conduct. Tickets £10, under 16s £5.Book online here

Prokofiev Cinderella Suite No.1, Tchaikovsky Swan Lake Act 4, John Carmichael Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra (Barry Yardley) The West London Sinfonia, west London’s premier amateur orchestra, will be performing two of the best loved ballet suites, as well as showcasing a trumpet concerto by renowned composer John Carmichael. Saturday November 7th at 7.30pm Fairest Isle: An Evening of English Baroque Music
Celebrated British counter-tenor, Robin Blaze, is joined by top musicians in the Early Music world, including Christian Curnyn, Iona Davies and Katharina Spreckelsen. The programme celebrates the instrumental and vocal music of Henry Purcell including some of the greatest pieces of the English Baroque and played on period instruments. Tickets £15 on the door. All proceeds to the St Michael's organ fund.

Sunday October 4th at 7.30pm : Sandy Burnett and the West London Bach Consort and Players present the Passion according to St John, by Johann Sebastian Bach. The retelling of Christ's arrest, trial and crucifixion brings together vivid narrative, terrifying crowd scenes, reflective arias and timeless chorales. A brilliant fusion of traditional African song and jazz by Alexander L’Estrange. The programme also includes A Little Jazz Mass by Bob Chilcott and Five Negro Spirituals by Sir Michael Tippett.
