Do come and join us for our Parish Mass at 10am on Sundays. On October 19th our choir will be singing McMillan's Mass of Blessed John Henry Newman and a motet by Arvo Part. Choral Evensong at 6.30pm.
Our War Memorial plaque and the memorial seat outside the church commemorate around 120 parishioners who lost their lives. An exhibition about their stories will open in November and there's a taster display in Chiswick Library at the moment. If you'd like to help with the project, please email the Parish Office.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Blue Sky Ball held at the Kensington Hilton on October 4th!
A great time was had by all!
Thanks to Charles Spencer, Bryony Gordon, AN Wilson, Simon Mayo, Toby Young, Peter Oborne, Simon Thurley and all our other authors, helpers, sponsors and audiences at this year's Chiswick Book Festival. You can read lots of comments - and add your own - on Twitter @W4BookFest and can see lots of pictures and videos here.
The Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving for the 25 years of priesthood of our Vicar, Father Kevin Morris on July 3rd was a memorable evening of music and liturgy with an inspirational sermon from the Rt Hon. and Rt Revd. Rowan Williams, Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge and former Archbishop of Canterbury (right).
Thanks to everyone who helped make the Bedford Park Festival - from Green Days weekend onwards - such a success. It was organised by St Michael's in aid of our three 2014 charities and our Organ and Parish Rooms Appeal. Don't miss Ian Wylie's pictures of Green Days Saturday and Sunday and lots of photos of Festival events by David Beresford here. And the video of Mark Ellen’s book evening here.
You can hear our new organ at services and concerts, but we are still paying for it! Thanks to everyone who came to our Hymnathon Top 50 in aid of our Organ and Parish Rooms Appeal - and to the Inaugural Recital. See chiswickbuzz.net
