Tickets are on sale at the door for most events - and you can also buy tickets for future events there.

Advance booking is advisable for popular events: Advance Booking Forms are also available in St Michael & All Angels Church and Puff'n'Stuff opposite the Church. Tickets for most events are available on the door, unless sold out. Discounts marked with an asterisk are for children, students and the unemployed. Programme of Events 2011

Rambert artistic director and dancersThis year's programme of Festival events is the most varied ever, with events featuring Chiswick's world-famous Rambert Dance Company (right); West End musicals star Rosie Ashe (Phantom, Les Miserables, Mary Poppins); comedy from Dudley Sutton (Tinker in Lovejoy); Opera Novella's Mikado, with Fr Kevin Morris in the title role (below right); poetry with writer Blake Morrison; the London Tango Quintet; a Champagne Recital with Covent Garden tenor; a history of Punch & Judy; the Bedford Park Film Festival, including the film competition judged by Colin Firth - and all the regular exhibitions, gardens, house concerts and so on.

Reception with wine and music. The preview party gets the Festival off to a flying start. A delightful opportunity to buy pictures, meet friends and listen to music.

The Bedford Park Summer Exhibition

Ali Cat, by Kit LineAn exhibition of works by local artists of all ages. All works are for sale and 30% of the proceeds go to the Festival causes. The sculpture for the poster, 'Ali Cat' (right) is by Kit Line. The original will be raffled - tickets on sale at exhibition.

An intimate concert in a beautiful Bedford Park house, followed by refreshments.  International concert violinist Carolin Widmann performs J.S. Bach Partita in B minor BWV 1002; Lili Boulanger Nocturne; E. Ysaye Sonata N. 2 'Obsession'; Lili Boulanger Cortège; L. Berio Sequenza VIII. Accompanied by Barry Jobling (Piano).

The Magic of Musicals

Strictly Rambert

Mark Baldwin, Artistic Director of Rambert Dance Company - celebrating its 85th anniversary this month - talks about the world-famous company, based in Chiswick, and his own award-winning career as dancer and choreographer, in conversation with the BBC’s Torin Douglas.  With archive footage, questions from the audience and a chance to become a member of Rambert’s Chiswick Friends.

Punch and Judy: That's the way to do it!

After 350 years, Mr Punch is still fighting his nagging wife, the police, and a sausage-fixated crocodile. Through some of the puppets themselves, Alix Booth (right) presents an entertaining History of Punch & Judy, challenging the popular opinion that Punch is a sadist with a stick. Not suitable for children.

The Mikado

The MikadoOpera Novella Productions presents Gilbert & Sullivan’s much-loved operetta, featuring singers from the D'Oyly Carte and St Michael's very own Father Kevin Morris in the title role.With a live chamber orchestra, this comic and musical masterpiece includes all the favourites: A Wandering Minstrel, I've Got A Little List, Three Little Maids From School, and The Sun Whose Rays.  Sally-Ann Shepherdson’s Yum-Yum was exemplary’ The Independent.
