Junior Choir
St Michael & All Angels' Junior Choir sings at the Family Service on the first Sunday of the month and for a number of years has performed musicals during the Bedford Park Festival each June (recently Oliver, The Wizard of Oz, Honk! and The Wind in the Willows - pictured here).
The Junior Choir offers the chance for children to develop their vocal and musical skills. Practices are held every Tuesday evening between 6 and 7pm in church, led by Jonathan Dods, St Michael's director of music, and Vicky Brooke, a member of the senior choir and chair of St Michael's Mothers' Union. In 2010 the Children's Musical will not take place during the Bedford Park Festival. There are plans to perform the Broadway show 'You're a good man, Charlie Brown' with a possible date in the autumn.
Other children's groups also perform in St Michael & All Angels Church, including two local schools - Orchard House School and Chiswick & Bedford Park Preparatory School - and young performers from the Chiswick Gospel Choir (right) at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, just up the road from St Michael.
