We mark Lent at St Michael & All Angels in a variety of ways: our services (including ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’ talks), our Lent study book, our Lent Charity Appeal and Lent lunch, Reflections on our Stained Glass Windows and study courses.

‘Would you Adam and Eve it?’
Exploring Christ in the Old Testament
During Lent we will explore the meaning of some of Old Testament stories for Christians today.
Lent has been called the ‘springtime of the Church.’
Like Spring, Lent brings growth, spiritual growth. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus encourages His disciples to pray regularly and quietly, to be generous in our dealings and in our charitable giving, and to fast. Our Lent programme is designed to help you keep a good and holy Lent. You are welcome to join any of the services and talks.
