Upstairs. The Michael Room occupies the whole space, together with a kitchen and two toilets. Scroll down for pictures of the downstairs halls.

The Michael Room, Gabriel Room and Raphael Room

The Michael Room (pictured above) is the large first-floor hall, with the original green-painted beams and high windows, making a light, airy and elegant space. It can be reached by a wide staircase or lift, giving access to the disabled, and accommodates 96 seated or 170 standing. Its dimensions are 12m by 9m (40ft by 30ft). There is a large modern kitchen and chairs, tables, crockery and glasses are available. It costs £55 per hour for community use and £95 per hour for private use. There’s a 25% discount for multiple bookings (10 or more, when booked together).

Downstairs (see pictures below) are two adjoining spaces, the Gabriel Room and the Raphael Room, which each accommodate 40 seated or 70 standing. Their dimensions are: Raphael Room: 9m by 5m (30ft by 16ft); Gabriel Room: 6m by 6m (20ft by 20 ft). They are served by a smaller kitchen. The Raphael Room costs £30 per hour for community use and £50 per hour for private use, with a 25% discount for multiple bookings. The Gabriel Room costs £33 per hour for Community use and £50 per hour for private use, with a 25% discount for multiple bookings.

All the rooms have adjacent toilet facilities and may be hired from 9 am to 11 pm (midnight on Fridays and Saturdays). There are also inclusive rates for special events and facilities:

Children’s parties (Three and a half hours’ use, i.e. a 2-hour party plus 45 minutes at each end for setting up and clearing away) cost £180 in the Michael Room and £180 in the Raphael and Gabriel Rooms combined. Hire of children’s tables & chairs is included. This rate applies only to events for children up to, and including, 13 years old and before 6pm. Children’s parties for ages 14 and over, and in the evening, are charged at the normal hourly rate. Please note that due to underfloor heating the use of Bouncy Castles is not permitted 

Kindly note that we do not accept bookings for 18th birthday parties.

Use of cutlery and crockery in the Michael Room and the Raphael & Gabriel Rooms is £1 per place settings, and the hire of tablecloths is £9 per cloth.

Wedding receptions and other full-day events cost £1,500, for which you get exclusive use of all the building for the entire day (9am to midnight). For further details, call the Parish Managers at the Parish Office.
