An Evening with Annabel Croft

At 8pm on Thursday May 22nd, St Michael & All Angels are delighted to host The Upper Room’s third and final fundraising ‘Evening with..’ of 2025. We’ll be joined by former professional tennis player Annabel Croft, who will again be hosting the Wimbledon trophy ceremonies for the both the Men’s and Ladies’ singles finals. She will be talking to former TV sports correspondent James Monroe. Doors open at 7.30pm. Details and tickets.

Earlier in the month, at 8pm on Thursday May 8th The Upper Room’s second fundraising ‘Evening with..’ will be held at St Saviour’s Wendell Park.
The speaker will be Dan Evans, an investigative journalist who worked for the Sunday Mirror and News of the World and was arrested in 2011 on suspicion of phone-hacking, making illegal payments to officials and perverting the course of justice. Dan become an important whistle-blower and a key prosecution witness in the phone-hacking trials, giving evidence against Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson. He will be in conversation with Torin Douglas, the former BBC Media Correspondent. Doors open at 7.30pm. Details and tickets.
