Events for children
The Festival gives lots of opportunities for children to have fun, win prizes, and show their talent - at football, fancy dress, film-making, photography, and song and dance.
You can print off the entry forms for the Football Tournaments below (closing date Friday May 27th); Bedford Park's Got Talent shortly (closing date Saturday June 11th); and the Photographic Exhibition (closing date Saturday June 18th) here. Click 'Open' when box appears.
How children can take part in this year's Festival
1. Turnham Green Terrace Treasure Hunt
Starting soon! Entries will close at 5pm on Friday June 10th 2011. Spot the Children's film characters in the windows of Turnham Green Terrace and say which is your favourite and why. Watch here and in the Terrace for more details. Prizes from Disney and Trotters.
2. Green Days
11am-6pm Saturday June 11th and 11.30am to 5.30pm Sunday 12th 2011
Funfair, dodgems, Children’s Corner, refreshments, plus football, fancy dress parade (right) and talent show:
- 5-a-side Football
There will again be three Tournaments this year – U9s to U11s Saturday morning; U12s to U14s Saturday afternoon; and U8s and below on Sunday. Application forms from: Andrew Mitchell 07768 497488 or downloadable here. First come first served. Entries close on May 27th. Sponsored by Edward D'Arc
- Fancy Dress Parade. Theme: Children's film characters
11am Saturday June 11th. Starting at St Michael & All Angels Parish Hall at 10.30am. Prizes.
- Bedford Park's Got Talent (Under-17s Talent Contest) 2pm Sunday June 13th 2011
Winners announced at 4pm. Entry forms available shortly inside Church (under Festival noticeboard) or print one off here shortly (when box appears, click 'Open').
Entries close: 12 noon, Saturday June 11th. Numbers limited, first come first served. Meet at Bandstand at 1.30pm.

3. BPFShorts - West London's Short Film Competition for 12s to 18s.
4. Photographic Exhibition & Competition
For photographers of all ages – two children’s categories, and a Royal Wedding Day category. Entries close 4pm Saturday June 18th. Exhibition runs from Friday June 24th to Sunday June 26th.
