Jack Redman, Director of Music, St Peter’s Acton Green

Jack Redman is a British pianist, organist and composer, who regularly performs as an accompanist and opera pianist. He has played for Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Lyric Opera Ireland, and performed harpsichord and organ continuo with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. He has played for many acclaimed soloists including opera singers Danielle de Niese and Nadine Benjamin MBE. Jack has performed recitals at the Wigmore Hall and elsewhere in the UK and France.
Following studies as a piano accompanist at the Royal Academy of Music, Jack became an Oxford Song Young Artist with Clara Orif and was a Young Artist at the Georg Solti Accademia in Venice. He also became Director of Music at St Peter’s Acton Green. Jack formerly studied the organ with Gordon Stewart and Neil Cox, completing his FRCO (Fellow of the Royal College of Organists) in 2021. He is a former finalist in the Northern Ireland International Organ Competition.
Jack’s compositions have been performed at the Oxford International Song Festival and on BBC Radio 3. His choral motet May the Mind of Christ My Saviour is published by the Church Music Society (Oxford University Press).
Our lunchtime concerts take place on the first Friday of the month, from 12.30 to 1.15pm.
