In the Community

St Michael & All Angels plays a central role at the heart of the local community, not just through its services but through its charity and arts activities, most notably its two festivals – the Bedford Park Festival in June and the Chiswick Book Festival in September, both of which we run on behalf of the community. Every month, there are also concerts and events in the Church and Parish Hall, as well as public meetings and regular talks, classes and courses. We also raise considerable sums for charities.

The modern Parish Hall is used by local schools during term time and provides a centre for many community events, including lectures, receptions, courses and classes. Many members of the congregation take part in a wide range of community and charitable activities, often using their professional skills in areas such as finance, the law, catering, communications and music.

We welcome new helpers, for our Festivals and other events as well as our worship and church activities. To find out how you might like to be involved, please look at other pages in this section or contact the Parish Office. To become more involved in the work of St Michael’s, and be able to vote in our Annual Parochial Church Meeting, please signup for our Electoral Roll.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
