West London Welcome is a community centre for refugees and asylum seekers living in West London. We work together to build a safe and friendly community where everyone can feel a sense of belonging. The centre provides a warm space for people to come in out of the cold, have a cup of tea and socialise, learn English, eat good hot food, make friends, share ideas, get advice and support, and escape often chaotic accommodation arrangements and isolation.

We are asking for your help collecting small gifts for the adult members of our refugee community living in basic accommodation in West London. For people who have so little, it will mean so much to know that there are locals thinking of them. Remember, it may be the only present they receive. We will be putting the gifts unwrapped on our gift table at our Christmas Party and every adult can choose a gift.

We’ve put together some suggested items to help you – click the link above. To ensure that the gifts are well matched, we suggest a budget of £20, but smaller gifts can aways be combined.

Please bring your gift(s) unwrapped to the 10am service on Sunday December 11th.

There will be a table at the back of church. If you are not going to be at church on this day, please call Paula Nelson between December 7th and 10th on 07817 214 402 to arrange collection/delivery.
