St Peter's Southfield Road & St Michael & All Angels
We are delighted to welcome the involvement of St Peter’s Southfield Road and its congregation in this year’s Bedford Park Festival. The vicar of St Michael & All Angels, Father Kevin Morris, is now also the priest-in-charge at St Peter’s, on the corner of St Albans Avenue and Southfield Road (see photo).
The two churches are working closely together and St Peter’s will benefit from money raised at the Festival, as does St Michael’s and its three chosen charities.
A team from St Peter’s is running the High Roller Tombola on the Saturday of Green Days weekend, June 13th, with help from St Michael’s. And we shall be welcoming Fr Fabrizio Pesche and his young family to St Michael’s at our Festival Mass on Sunday June 28th. Fr Fabrizio will live at the Vicarage next to St Peter’s and will take over pastoral responsibility for the church in due course.
