An A to Z of Festival Supporters 2004

More than 80 local businesses supported this year's Bedford Park Festival, making it a real community event. By helping cover the costs, they ensured that more money will go to the 2004 Festival causes: the Micro Loan Foundation, the Upper Room, the repainting of St Michael & All Angels Church, and its new trust fund. They include firms that sponsored events and marquees, or gave prizes, restaurants who donated meals, and Turnham Green Terrace businesses, who supported the children's Treasure Hunt.

Green Days
Andreas Georghiou in Turnham Green Terrace donated the strawberries and cream. Boardwise, the BBC, Fouberts, Midas PR and Orion provided prizes for children's events. The Brentford & Chiswick Times provided the bouncy castle and gave full coverage to the Festival, as did The Chiswick. Bushells sponsored the Five-a-side Football competitions. Fletchers sponsored the Beer Tent. Happy Times Nursery sponsored the Children's Corner. Howard Russell & Co sponsored the Champagne Lottery. Independent Audio operated the sound system. Macken Brothers supplied the meat for the Barbecue. SweatyBetty sponsored Pop Idol. Sainsburys and White Stuff supported the Crafts Marquee. Wheelers of Turnham Green helped stock the Plants Stall .
