Crafts and skills for children were on display, alongside those
for adults, at this year's Craft Fair at the Bedford Park Festival
on the weekend of June 12th and 13th.
Petit Artisan, a Chiswick
company that makes craft products and party bags for children,
returned to the Festival, displaying its Summer Activity Kits.
These are carrier bags with a range of papier mache toys for children
to decorate. Paints and brushes are supplied.
The company was set up by Anne-France Kennedy and Karine Etienne
to offer parents, child carers and teachers innovative craft activities
based on natural materials. They also offer a Beach Set, with
a papier mache beach hut and light house, and a Sea Animals set,
containing a seagull and a fish.
30p from every bag is donated to a charity called Hope and Homes
for Children, which finds foster homes for children who are victims
of war and disease. The full range can be seen at www.petitartisan.com
and their phone number is 07810 893 029.
