The Bedford Park Festival, 12 - 27 June 2004

Supporters of last year's Bedford Park Festival

More than 75 local businesses supported this year's Bedford Park Festival, making it a real community event. By helping cover the costs, they ensured that more money is going to St Mary's Convent & Nursing Home. They include major sponsors of events and marquees, restaurants who donated meals for the Win a Meal Tombola, and Turnham Green Terrace traders, who supported the children's Treasure Hunt.

Green Days

Bushells sponsored the two Five-a-side Football competitions. Champagne Leroy Duval supplied the Champagne Lottery. Fletcher Estates sponsored the Beer Tent, including the 'Fletchers Happy Hour'. M&C Greengrocers in Turnham Green Terrace donated all the strawberries and cream. Macken Brothers supplied the meat for the Barbecue. The Park Club sponsored the Bouncy Castle. Fouberts, Petit Artisan and the BBC provided prizes. Sainsburys Chiswick sponsored the refreshments and crafts marquees. Waterstone's Chiswick sponsored the Fancy Dress Parade. Wheelers of Turnham Green helped stock the Plants Stall.

Festival events

The Green sponsored the Bedford Park Summer Exhibition in St Michael & All Angels church, and Fletcher Estates the Harry Potter Treasure Hunt in Turnham Green Terrace. Letts Educational, based in Chiswick High Road, sponsored the children's musical Annie. Snappy Snaps once again provided the prizes for the Photographic Exhibition and Competition, and processed many of the entries. Starbucks Chiswick sponsored the Friday Night Jazz concert. Lad's Newsagents and the Bedford Park Post Office distributed leaflets and entry forms. London Underground provided publicity material at local tube stations and the Brentford & Chiswick Times and The Chiswick devoted extensive coverage to the Festival.
